Mechanical Engineering Intern

A materials technology company developing cleaner processes for producing rare earth metals and alloys.

  • Designed a new gas panel for electrolysis cells using CAD, sourced equipment, prepared engineering drawings, conducted cost analysis, and led multiple design-review meetings.
  • Supported oxide-cooling experiments by integrating airflow through a vacuum kiln.
  • Managed materials shipping and receiving and conducted market research for the company’s 43-101 technical report.

Kawal Masa Depan

Intern, Payment Systems Integration & Website Migration

Nonprofit supporting children in Indonesia orphaned by the COVID-19 pandemic.

  • Prototyped a subscription payment system using the Typedream API with Xendit, KitaBisa, and PayPal.
  • Migrated the website to WordPress and added English and Indonesian support.
  • Contributed to an organization-level fundraising result of more than $265,000.

Wing and Tail Lead

  • Support the design, manufacturing, and assembly of wing and tail structures for an SAE Aero Design Regular-Class aircraft.
  • Designed and integrated filler ribs, contributed to jigs and servo integration, and supported payload integration.
  • Conducted ANSYS CFD on propeller-wing orientations.

Engineering Lead

  • Led a 20-member engineering team building swerve-drive competition robots.
  • Worked across shooters, elevator arms, pneumatic climbers, a crash bar, and game-piece intakes.
  • Qualified for the New England District Championship for the first time in the team’s eight-year history.

Build Lead

  • Led design and prototyping for Wind Power, Air Trajectory, Detector Building, Electric Vehicle, and Tower.
  • Earned multiple first-place and top-six finishes at regional and state competitions.

Soccer, Track & Field, and Tennis

Soccer

Placed third in ACSIS Division 1 and won the nationwide Junior Soccer League and Southeast Asia 5-a-side tournament. Later competed in MIAA Division 1.

Track & Field — Captain

Led practices for approximately 50 teammates and mentored new jumpers. Recorded the third-best indoor long jump in Belmont High School history, qualified for the Massachusetts divisional championship, and reached the IASAS triple jump final.

Competed in MIAA Division 1 and Singapore Tennis Association SPEX tournaments.
